AquaGaming Update
We are currently experiencing serious copyright pressure. We've been working hard to make Kingdom Hopper its own game with its own identity, but concerns about similarities between Atlas and existing characters have put us in a difficult position. Redesigning Atlas sounds simple, but it affects dozens of sprites, animations, sizing, and other parts of the game that have already been built around his current design. Because of this, Kingdom Hopper is temporarily unavailable on itch.io while we work through these changes. We care a lot about this game and don't want to lose the character and style that made it feel like Kingdom Hopper in the first place. At the same time, we want Atlas to be clearly original and avoid unnecessary copyright concerns. It's been stressful and frustrating, and right now we're focused on finding the best solution without undoing a huge amount of work. We appreciate everyone's patience while we get Kingdom Hopper back into a place where we're comfortable releasing it again.
